YUV sub sampling patterns supported by Breeze
The positions of luma and chroma samples in every YUV format supported by Breeze are characterized by the specific pattern. Currently Breeze supports 7 YUV / YCbCr sub sampling patterns in 3 sub sampling ratio groups:
- 4:4:4 - uniform
- 4:2:2 - co site even
- 4:2:2 - co site odd
- 4:2:2 - centered
- 4:2:0 - co site even
- 4:2:0 - co site odd
- 4:2:0 - centered

Designation of used symbols are the following:
- position of luma sample only
- position of 2 chroma samples only
- positions of luma and 2 chroma samples are co sited.
- position of 2 chroma samples only
- positions of luma and 2 chroma samples are co sited.
